PRINCIPAL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support recruitment activities by coordinating job postings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and assisting with the onboarding process. Maintain employee records through accurate personnel file management, assist with digital record upkeep, and adhere to document retention requirements. Assist with benefits administration by helping employees with enrollment, processing changes, and responding to general benefits inquiries. Coordinate training programs by scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, issuing training certifications, and maintaining complete training records. Assist with HR policy support, including updates, distribution, and employee communication. Compliance tracking to support audits, ensure required postings, and monitor deadlines for HR and Administration compliance items. Manage documents and workflows by creating forms, tracking approvals, and streamlining processes. Handle employee relations and inquiries through frontline support, participation in investigations, and proactive communication with staff and supervisors. Prepare reports, track metrics, and maintain spreadsheets. Assist the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Human Resources with leading initiatives, process improvements, and special projects.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in human resources, administrative support, or office operations.
Physical Requirements:
The Human Resources Administration Generalist will primarily work within the office environment but may also engage in occasional physical tasks such as bending, reaching, sitting, and walking during the workday. This role may require the ability to lift items weighing at least 20 pounds. Moreover, the individual will also spend extended periods each day working on a personal computer. The HR Administration Generalist provides comprehensive support across HR, Administration, and organizational operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant processes. This role enhances day-to-day workflow, strengthens employee support systems, and contributes to initiatives that improve organizational performance. Responsibilities include administering core HR functions, such as recruitment, benefits administration, training coordination, records management, and compliance support, as well as providing administrative operations support across departments under the Chief Administrative Officer, a key role in supporting HR and Administration initiatives. The role includes enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening employee support systems, and assist with developing initiatives that improve employee performance.
