He began with a fleet of 12 vehicles and two years later signed a franchise agreement to become an Avis Licensee. The HR Administrator is responsible for assisting the Vice President with recruiting, onboarding, payroll functions, personnel files, and administrative work. The role must have an understanding of multiple HR disciplines, recruiting, payroll, performance management, employee benefits, policies and procedures, administration, and regulatory compliance. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent GED required. Human resources, business or other related field experience preferred, minimum of 1 year. A valid drivers' license and the ability to be covered under the Company's automobile insurance is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the recruiting and applicant tracking solution and develop content such as job advertisements, communications, and job questions. Post job advertisements to the Applicant Tracking System. Review applicant resumes and screen applicants. Complete phone interviews with applicants. Assist with the onboarding process to enhance the new employee experience. Assist new hires with onboarding paperwork and system setup. Run background checks and driver's license checks on new hires. Assist with payroll functions such as incentive calculations, overtime calculations and timecard approvals. Perform audits of personnel files to ensure they are up to date and scanned in the appropriate place. Assist in companywide compliance training and assign tasks to employees through isolved workplace as needed Assist in uniform inventory and dispersement to team members as needed.
