Full Job Description Ministry Function:
The International Human Resources Operations Coordinator (IHROC) supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope (COH) by providing administrative and operational support to the international HR team, helping to ensure effective processes and communication across international offices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned projects. Oversees all aspects of the international team member life cycle, including directories, project dashboards/checklists, and HRIS profiles. For team members hired through an employer of record vendor, supports applicable portions of the life cycle in collaboration with the International HR Manager. Processes and tracks international position requests in collaboration with Regional HR Managers, ensuring timely documentation and current, accurate status dashboards. Handles correspondence and inquiries sent to the International HR email and WhatsApp, prioritizing responses and escalating to the appropriate team members when necessary. Acts as the liaison between international team members and the IT department, primarily during onboarding, to ensure that requests for account access, devices, and troubleshooting are clearly communicated and followed up on for timely resolution. Creates and edits introductory posts for new international team members by gathering and refining background summaries and photos for internal distribution, ensuring clarity, consistency, and a hospitable tone. Provides administrative support to the international HR team on projects as assigned, and assists with coordination of HR team events and hospitality needs. Prepares, tracks, and maintains missionary relationship agreements and related documents in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Serves as backup to the International HR Manager during their absence, ensuring continuity of international HR operations and support. Fulfills all other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A bachelor's degree is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Two or more years of HR or equivalent experience is preferred. Exhibits the professional ability to keep all information in strict confidence and operate with a high level of integrity. Communicates clearly and consistently, especially when working with team members whose primary language is not English. Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and a willingness to learn in order to handle to build strong relationships with international team members. Shows strong attention to detail and accuracy in all capacities. Works with optimism, humor, flexibility, and a commitment to help and support in a changing and fast-paced environment. Brings critical thinking, initiative, and problem-solving skills to projects and sees them through to completion. Proficient in PC/Mac and commonly used software programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Attends and actively participates in Convoy of Hope At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members. Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry. Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that team members embrace the organization's religious purposes for which it exists and not only agree with its Statement of Faith but demonstrate it in their lives on an ongoing basis.Supervisory Responsibilities:
