Position:
Paws Up Montana is seeking a People and Culture Generalist to run the daily operations of multiple functions of the People and Culture Team. They have a broad range of knowledge and responsibilities throughout the human resources functions and are expected to have strong organization and communication skills—including clear discernment around confidentiality.

The position work schedule is Sunday through Thursday (Friday and Saturday off).
Primary Responsibilities:
Serves as the HRIS owner and specialist for the resort, managing the system for the People & Culture team, identifying process improvements, enhancing workflows between People & Culture and Payroll, maintaining system accuracy, and troubleshooting issues for directors and managers. Responsible for coordinating the full employee onboarding and orientation process, including welcome emails, personalized welcome phone calls, manager communications, HRIS onboarding, scheduling orientation, BEO requests, and communicating details to team members, managers, and executive team members. Acts as an on-property resource for payroll, benefits, and People & Culture related questions, including assisting with direct deposit enrollment, reviewing benefit offerings, and partnering with Payroll or other departments as needed. Owns and co-leads with the Manager of Learning and Development the day-of orientation experience for all new team members, including team member check-in, timeclock enrollment, collection of required federal documents, HRIS photo capture, uniform distribution, facilitating and delivering orientation presentations, ensuring completion of onboarding activities, and creating a welcoming, professional introduction to company policies and workplace expectations. Serves as the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, including managing user accounts, course enrollments, reporting, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting team members and leaders with training platform needs. Assists the Manager of People Relations and Housing as needed with employee relations matters, including serving as a witness in conversations, conducting exit interviews, providing employment verifications, administering leaves of absence, and supporting other related tasks. Assists the People and Culture Coordinator on the uniform management software system, including purchasing uniforms, maintaining accurate inventory, distributing uniforms, and training team members on system use as needed. Assists with implementation of software and systems that support the People & Culture team Documents/maintains SOPs for Generalist related functions. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, cultural events for international team members, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and retirement celebrations. Maintains accurate and up-to-date files, records, and documentation. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, supports special projects, and performs other duties as assigned.

Looking for team members with:
