Job Summary Come join us at beautiful Highland Lake Inn & Resort ! We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional to join our team in a dual HR/Payroll Administrator and Accounts Receivable (A/R) Accountant role. This hybrid administrative position offers a balance of human resources management—including employee onboarding, record maintenance, and payroll processing—alongside essential financial tracking, daily sales reconciliation, and data analysis. Key Responsibilities Human Resources & Onboarding Onboarding & Offboarding:
Coordinate new employee onboarding (preparing materials, conducting orientation, ensuring compliance documentation) and manage proper employee offboarding processes.
HR Record Maintenance:
Maintain highly accurate, confidential employee records, benefits administration, and time-off tracking.
Compliance & Support:
Review job postings against the company's Salary Administration Program, track management compliance with HR policies, and assist with employee relations inquiries.
Performance Tracking:
Assist the management team with tracking and executing timely annual employee performance reviews and regular training.
Payroll & Accounting Bi-Weekly Payroll:
Execute full-cycle payroll processing every two weeks, including reviewing timecards, processing payroll deductions/tips, maintaining precise records, and coordinating with department managers.
A/R & Sales Reconciliation:
Review and analyze daily POS sales transactions for accuracy, identify errors, work with managers to resolve discrepancies, and log complete records in the accounting system.
Period-End Reporting:
Complete various end-of-month and end-of-year tasks associated with sales, deposits, and payroll reporting.
Qualifications & Preferences Experience:
Prior experience in HR administration, payroll processing, or bookkeeping/accounting is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential for data entry, validation, and reporting.
Core Competencies:
High level of confidentiality, strong data analysis skills, excellent cross-departmental communication, and sharp attention to detail.
