Job Description

Position Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant will assist the Human Resources Director with employee related aspects in the office including orientations, and new hire trainings. The Human Resource Assistant will also assist qualified professional staff along with the administrative team. This position will be responsible for assisting with member charts, maintaining employee charts, performing administrative duties to guarantee organization and coordination of office procedures and policies. The role of this position is to also sustain and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety.
General Purpose:
The Human Resources Assistant's responsibilities include maintaining employee carts, assisting with member charts, assisting QPs with documentation for members (i.e., consents, obtaining signatures, etc…), greeting visitors and providing general administrative support to our employees and members. The Human Resources Assistant should also have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle duties as assigned.
Role Qualifications:
Ultimately, the Human Resources Assistant will maintain employee charts, assist QPs and the administrative team as needed. The Human Resources Assistant will also assist by ensuring optimal efficiency of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operations. Must partner with management team to ensure office systems and procedures are accurate and efficient.
Position responsibilities:
  • Filing and organizing member charts to keep them up-to-date as needed
  • Assist with maintaining employee charts
  • Backup for the billing department with reviewing timesheets and billing
  • Upload information from QP's to the Provider Direct System as needed
  • Complete Consents and paperwork in preparation for ISP meetings
  • Answer telephones and maintain an account of messages
  • Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary
  • Assist with organizing office operations and procedures
  • Act as minute secretary and provide secretarial support, including agenda preparation and distribution, for weekly meetings and updates as needed
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Assist in the on-boarding process for new hires as needed
  • Complete quarterly newsletters for the agency
  • Maintain blog and social media sites for the agency
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of agency documents
  • Representation of agency in a positive manner at all times
  • Upholds integrity of company and follows policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update required human resource and clinical documents for continued employment
  • Acts as a bridge between employees and management
  • Adhere to other duties as assigned.
Essential skills and experience (Qualifications): Must have a high school diploma or GED. Associate Degree Preferred. Be able to demonstrate competence in the area of confidentiality, participant rights, and documentation skills. Have strong organizational and management skills. Be 18 or older, have and maintain a valid NC driver's license and maintain liability insurance for their automobile. Be able to work in a non- supervised setting. Must have reliable transportation.
Nonessential skills and experience:
Associate Degree Preferred Physical demands and work environment: Must be able to stand, sit, drive and walk for an extended amount of time. Must be able to lift and carry 50 or more pounds. Must be able to carry out duties in various weather conditions.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
