Position:
The Leave Administrator position handles critical payroll-related duties including administration of all SHRA and EHRA leave types, worker's compensation, overtime compensation, compensatory time, on-call back, call-back pay, shift premium pay, voluntary shared leave, leave reporting, and timesheet processes. This position works in close coordination with the Chief Payroll Administrator, the HRIS Consultant, and the Payroll Specialist to execute monthly and bi-weekly payroll operations. Education:
4 - 5 years' related experience of Human Resources Experience in a higher education or public sector HR environment. Familiarity with HR systems such as PeopleAdmin, Banner, or equivalent platforms. Experience conducting training sessions and leading system implementations or enhancements. Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Understanding HR principles, laws, and regulations (training or coursework in HR is beneficial). Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Broad benefits administration experience, including state programs, leave of absence, retirement, and on/off-boarding support
