Job Description

We are seeking a Personnel Assistant to join our busy and people-focused Personnel team! This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, building relationships, and creating a welcoming environment. While office experience is a plus, we're primarily looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. The right candidate is proactive, dependable, and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You'll often be the face of our department, greeting employees and visitors, answering questions, and helping ensure everyone has a positive experience. Us:
Provide administrative and operational support across core Personnel functions. Deliver administrative support for the Personnel team, including filing, scanning, copying, document preparation, data entry, mail distribution, employee follow-up for required forms and signatures, and occasional off-site errands. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and employee events as requested. Support recruitment and onboarding activities by preparing candidate and new hire packets, coordinating interviews, facilitating pre-employment screenings and background checks, facilitating new hire orientation, tracking candidate and new hire progress through the hiring process, maintaining recruitment records, and providing general administrative support for recruitment and onboarding programs. Administer Personnel programs and benefits processes, including carrier and vendor communications, eligibility updates, and recordkeeping systems, ensuring accurate and timely administration. Administer and maintain assigned Personnel programs, processes, and tracking systems, ensuring timely and accurate recordkeeping. Cross-train in various Personnel functions to provide departmental coverage and support as needed. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Bring Your Expertise:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. In possession of or pursuing, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field preferred. 1+ year general administrative or HR experience in an office environment preferred. Basic accounting, budgeting or purchasing experience preferred. Good organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills, with a commitment to completing tasks and resolving issues in a timely manner. Demonstrates the ability to make thoughtful, well-informed decisions based on careful analysis. Ability to keep information confidential. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient in
MS Office Suite:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. HRIS experience helpful (will train). Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel between
TURBOCAM
New Hampshire locations. Must be able to lift up to 20lbs occasionally.
