Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our nursing home team as an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) / HR . This dual-role position provides hands-on experience in long-term care operations while supporting essential human resources functions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role within a skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Administrator with daily operations of the nursing home Support compliance with state and federal regulations Coordinate recruitment, interviews, and hiring of nursing home staff Manage onboarding, orientation, and employee records Assist with scheduling, staffing, and employee relations Support payroll and benefits administration Participate in quality assurance and resident care initiatives Ensure a positive work environment for staff and quality care for residents
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment Interest in long-term care leadership and HR Prior experience in healthcare or HR (preferred)
