Job Description Are you looking for your next opportunity? Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing International Human Resources team. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an important member of the recruitment team and will play a key role in supporting recruitment operations across multiple business units and geographies. While the primary focus of the role will be coordinating and managing background check processes, the position will also support broader Talent Acquisition activities including interview coordination, employment documentation, recruitment events, and candidate experience initiatives. This role serves as a central point of coordination for recruitment operations activities across North America, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, and other global locations as needed. This position will be based out of our Purchase, New York, Morristown, New Jersey or Charlotte, North Carolina offices. Our business, your impact, our opportunity: What you'll be doing: Background Screening Coordination
  • Coordinate and monitor background check processes across North America (United States, Canada, Bermuda, Puerto Rico), the United Kingdom, and Continental Europe
  • Ensure timely completion and accurate processing of background screening activities
  • Liaise with candidates, recruiters, HR partners, and third-party vendors to resolve questions or issues related to screening requirements
  • Support compliance with applicable regulatory, privacy, and employment standards across jurisdictions
  • Maintain accurate records and provide follow-up on outstanding or pending cases
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the screening and onboarding process Candidate & Stakeholder Experience
  • Deliver a professional, responsive, and welcoming experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Provide timely communication and updates to candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, HR partners, and external vendors to ensure an efficient and positive hiring experience What you'll bring: Previous experience in a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Recruitment Coordinator, or Talent Acquisition Operations role, preferably within a multinational or fast-paced environment Experience supporting international background check processes and recruitment coordination activities preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and candidate experience A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate challenges and adapt in a dynamic environment Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across global teams and cultures
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $80,000 (U.S.) Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
