Job Description Position Summary:
Serving as the primary administrative professional for the department, the HR Coordinator assists the HR team with ordering of supplies, scheduling of meetings, trainings, events, and interviews, answering employee questions, maintaining employee records, processing and orienting new hires, and more. Their focus is on streamlining existing HR processes and making sure all HR operations run smoothly and compliantly.
Specific Duties Include:
Performs general administrative and coordination duties for the department. Answers internal and external HR related questions and requests. Maintains and updates employee records (in paper and electronic form). Schedules meetings, events, interviews, and other activities. Assists the HR Director with special projects including, but limited to assignments relating to recruiting, screening, and employment verification. Provides record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS data entry support to the department. Make photocopies; mail, scans and emails documents; and perform other clerical functions. Prepares correspondence as requested.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Human Resources department. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to interact professionally with club staff, volunteers and contacts outside the organization Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with Paycor HR software and HRIS databases preferred. A passion for mission-driven work. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods, and stoop and kneel occasionally Ability to speak and hear to use telephone, participate in meetings, etc. Ability to effectively use computer, lift papers and files Ability to push, pull, reach for and lift articles up to 10 pounds Ability to work alone and in confined spaces such as storage area
Driving Position:
Must be at least 21 years of age, with valid Nevada driver's license and good driving record. Use of a personal vehicle may be required and mileage is reimbursed.
