Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the development of current HR systems and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be involved in various HR functions, including recruitment, training, employee relations, and record maintenance, all while fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities Support the development and initiatives of existing HR systems. Provide guidance and counseling on HR policies and procedures. Actively participate in recruitment processes, including job postings and hiring procedures. Create and develop effective onboarding plans for new hires. Develop and implement training and development programs for employees. Assist in managing disciplinary actions and resolving grievances. Maintain accurate employee records, including EEO data and attendance records, in accordance with policy and legal requirements. Review employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Prepare and update job descriptions for various positions. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Schedule interviews and coordinate the selection process for candidates. Input data and maintain a database of employee applications. Contribute to achieving workforce goals through collaboration and effort. Submit work hours to the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Regularly update and maintain the Employee Handbook. Manage the hourly portion of the apprentice program. Create and update HR policies as needed. Investigate non-safety-related complaints and provide solutions. Assist with weekly payroll processing. Conduct benefit analysis to support employee needs. Create and distribute quarterly Company updates to employees
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
