Join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator in a dynamic airport environment! $28.00 - $30.00 / Hour Full-Time Comprehensive Benefits Package Career Growth Opportunities SSP America is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support our restaurant operations team at JFK Airport. In this role, you'll serve as a key HR resource for managers and employees, assisting with onboarding, employee relations, compliance, recordkeeping, and day-to-day HR administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with at least one year of experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career with a leading hospitality organization. Essential Functions Support the full-cycle onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and employment verification. Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures. Coordinate and track training, certifications, and compliance requirements. Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and employee status changes. Partner with operational leaders to support staffing, retention, and employee relations efforts. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company employment policies and procedures. Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects as needed. Skills & Requirements Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience required. Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations principles. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
