Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Assistant and become a vital contributor to our organization's success! In this energetic role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help us attract, retain, and develop top talent while maintaining compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your HR expertise within a collaborative and fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo, and coordinating interviews. Support onboarding processes by facilitating employee orientation sessions and managing new hire documentation. Contribute to employee evaluation procedures by gathering data, preparing reports, and supporting performance management initiatives. Help administer employee benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and answering employee inquiries related to HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM. Maintain accurate HR records through data entry and data collection activities while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with employment & labor law standards. Assist in implementing change management strategies and organizational design projects to improve workforce management. Support employee relations initiatives by addressing routine questions, managing conflict resolution processes, and promoting positive communication across teams. Experience Previous administrative experience in human resources or related fields is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential. Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, or ADP will be advantageous. Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and affirmative action planning is highly valued. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are crucial for effective collaboration across departments.
