Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven HR Operations & Compliance Specialist to serve as the operational and regulatory backbone of our Human Resources team. This role requires an individual who thrives in high-volume, highly regulated environments and possesses deep expertise in federal, state, and local compliance standards-specifically regarding I-9 administration, document reverification, and employee record auditing. Acting as the first line of operational support, you will manage day-to-day data transactions within our HRIS, resolve complex employee inquiries via our ticketing network, and maintain a flawless audit trail for all personnel actions. No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesProvide first-line support to employees via the service delivery ticketing system, addressing HR-related inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate HR-related service issues as needed, ensuring timely resolution and VEGgie satisfaction.
  • Assist with improving service delivery processes, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) and response times are consistently met.
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity, processing data change requests accurately and promptly, and auditing employment records regularly.
  • Respond to document requests related to employee files, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage unemployment claims, responding to inquiries within three business days.
  • Process all employment changes, including promotions, internal transfers, pay changes, I-9 reverifications, offboarding, etc., in HRIS.
  • Generate and maintain employee change documentation, such as pay increase and promotion letters, ensuring they are stored properly in employee files.
