Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Human Resources Assistant to support the daily operations of our HR department. This role is essential in helping maintain accurate employee records, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and ensure smooth communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes Maintain and update employee records and HR databases Help manage benefits enrollment and employee inquiries Assist with payroll preparation and timekeeping systems Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role, preferably in healthcare or long-term care Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
