Freedom Home Care is a veteran-focused home care agency dedicated to providing exceptional care to veterans and their families throughout Ohio. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and driven professional to lead both our Human Resources functions and our Family Caregiver Support Program. This position plays a critical role in ensuring caregivers are successfully onboarded, compliant, supported, and retained while helping maintain a positive company culture. Position Summary The Human Resources & Family Caregiver Support Manager serves as the primary support person for our Family caregivers throughout their employment journey as well as regular caregivers needing help with onboarding and compliance. This role is responsible for overseeing onboarding, compliance, employee records, caregiver relations, family caregiver support, and employee retention initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, solving problems, staying organized, and ensuring employees have the tools they need to succeed.

Pass a State and Federal background check with Fingerprinting Pass a drug screen Valid driver's license Active car insurance Reliable transportation Human Resources Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring Support Assist with recruiting efforts and applicant follow-up Coordinate interviews and hiring activities Conduct reference checks when required Assist with employment offers and hiring paperwork Maintain applicant tracking records Employee Onboarding Guide new hires through the onboarding process Ensure all required employment documents are completed Verify employee files are complete and compliant Coordinate orientation scheduling and preparation Compliance & Employee Records Maintain employee files and documentation Track license, certification, insurance, and document expirations Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures Ensure personnel files remain audit-ready Assist with state, VA, and company compliance requirements Employee Relations Serve as a resource for employee questions and concerns Promote positive workplace culture and employee retention Family Caregiver Support Responsibilities Family Caregiver Onboarding Guide family caregivers through the complete onboarding process Explain employment requirements and expectations Assist with set-up of our apps. Ensure all required documentation is completed Ongoing Family Caregiver Support Serve as the primary point of contact for family caregivers Conduct regular check-ins with caregivers Assist caregivers with questions, concerns, and challenges Help troubleshoot issues related to scheduling, documentation, and technology Provide support and guidance to encourage caregiver success Work closely with office staff to resolve caregiver concerns promptly Family Caregiver Compliance Monitor family caregiver schedules and maintain proper EVV compliance. Assist family caregivers in changing schedules as needed. Monitor family caregiver compliance requirements Track required paperwork, renewals, and documentation Follow up on missing or incomplete information Ensure caregivers remain eligible and in good standing Maintain accurate records and documentation Travel Requirements This is primarily an in-office position. Occasional travel may be required to client homes or caregiver locations when additional support is needed. Travel may include assisting with onboarding, paperwork completion, technology setup, compliance concerns, or issue resolution that cannot be effectively handled by phone. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for all work-related travel. Qualifications Required Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Professional demeanor and positive attitude Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Proficiency with computers and office software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Being a team player and be willing to assist others with tasks as needed.
