Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our HR department. This role will partner closely with HR team members and contribute across multiple functional areas, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and DOT compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and comfortable handling both administrative and employee-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including new hires, terminations, and status changes Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees Maintain DOT files and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, terminations, and qualifying events Work closely with management to complete year end tasks including time off, open enrollment and ACA reporting Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries providing prompt and accurate information Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all employee data Miscellaneous tasks including completing I-9's, new hire reporting, responding to employment verifications, and unemployment claims Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
2+ years' experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role Working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred Experience with DOT compliance is a plus
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, in person position Monday through Friday.
