Human Resources & Staffing Coordinator Meadow View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Occasional Weekends | On-Site Join a Team Where Compassion Meets Excellence We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Human Resources & Staffing Coordinator to join our leadership team in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. Position Summary Under the direction of the Administrator, the HR & Staffing Coordinator oversees all aspects of human resources operations while managing daily staffing functions to ensure optimal coverage and compliance. This role requires a proactive, organized professional who can balance recruitment, employee relations, and scheduling in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Leadership Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations Conduct background checks, reference verifications, and employment eligibility documentation Develop and maintain job descriptions and performance evaluations Support employee relations, including counseling, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution Coordinate employee benefits, workers' compensation claims, and unemployment processes Lead orientation and in-service education programs Maintain confidentiality of all employee information in accordance with privacy laws Collaborate with leadership on staffing strategies, retention initiatives, and culture development Participate in Quality Assurance and facility committees Staffing Coordination Create, manage, and post staff schedules in collaboration with department leaders Monitor daily staffing levels, call-offs, tardiness, and overtime Fill open shifts and manage schedule changes and PTO requests Track attendance and communicate updates to HR and leadership Ensure staffing aligns with budgetary guidelines and census needs Monitor agency usage and implement cost-effective staffing solutions Support onboarding scheduling and orientation coordination Maintain accurate staffing records and reports Qualifications High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Previous experience in Human Resources and/or Staffing Coordination required Long-Term Care or healthcare experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and scheduling systems Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficiency in basic computer systems and HR software Ability to always maintain professionalism and confidentiality What We Offer Competitive compensation Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Daily Pay option Paid Time Off & Holiday Pay 401(k) with company match Life Insurance & Short-Term Disability Supportive team environment with growth opportunities Why This Role Matters In this position, you are not just managing schedules or processing paperwork, you are shaping the employee experience and ensuring that residents receive the highest level of care through a well-supported, fully staffed team.
