Job Description

Company Overview Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses is a nurse-owned and nurse-operated small business dedicated to providing high-quality in-home care services. Our organization is licensed by the state and has built a reputation for compassionate, patient-centered care since 1987, serving Delaware County, the Main Line, and surrounding areas. Overview The HR assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Department, helping ensure smooth daily functions across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, scheduling, and record management. Duties 1. Identify and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and direct outreach. 2. Write and post job descriptions and openings across multiple platforms 3. Represent Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses professionally to enhance employer brand and candidate experience 4. Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidates; conduct phone screenings, initial interviews, and administer competency assessments 5. Assist with the initial application process for hiring of external staff employees (nurses and caregivers) in compliance with Pennsylvania Home Care Regulations. 6. Maintain communication with candidates throughout the application process 7. Schedule and run new employee orientations: assure all new external staff are oriented to PAN Policies and Procedures. 8. Enter new employees and documentation with expired dates into WellSky. With assistance of Administrative Assistant, notify employees in advance of expired certifications. 9. Keep current employee files organized and secure in filing cabinet 10. Develop and administer quarterly Employee Satisfaction Surveys 11. Track new hires and their availability, first worked shift, last worked shift 12. Support new employee onboarding by making weekly phone calls to new employees to check in 13. Responsible for coordinating employee of the month and notifying employee of recognition 14. Responsible for tracking the referral bonuses for employees. Notifying the PAN employee that their referral has started employment with PAN. Notifying AM when the referral awards should be distributed. 15. Assist with the design of promotional products 16. Annual assistance with the planning and organization of Nurses' week (staff appreciation, May) 17. Bi-annual assistance with Open House (Spring and Fall) 18. Work with the Vice President, Clinical Director, and Scheduling Supervisor to develop and carry out Employee Counseling's, Performance Improvement Plans, and Annual Reviews 19. With the help of the Administrative Assistant, ensure employees receive, sign, and return a copy of any new policies being implemented 20. Provide administrative support to the office: answering phones, assist with caller inquiries 21. Assist with scheduling as needed Experience/Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer-service mindset when supporting employees
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or at least 2 years work experience
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook)
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
