Join the Team Driving Real Growth for Auto Shops Business Actualization is a niche digital marketing agency specializing in the growth of independent auto repair and collision shops. We bring real shop experience, not just marketing talk. Our founder-led team partners with auto shops across the country to drive real results, with no fluff, no templates, and no shortcuts. As a rapidly growing business, we're looking for someone dependable, organized, and proactive to keep our team flourishing. This role is responsible for the growth and retention of our employees as we aim to double in size (from 15 to 30) over the next 5 years. HR & Team Support:
Create and maintain employee hiring, onboarding, and offboarding tasks and processes. Serve as a point of contact for HR paperwork and basic team needs. Coordinate with our PEO for benefits, compliance, and HR questions. Rewrite our outdated employee handbook and create new policies in needed areas Support our new business, an auto repair shop, tentatively opening mid-summer. You will create the HR and Payroll processes and potentially support the future creation of a corporate structure as we scale both businesses.Compensation & Payroll:
Manage the time clock system and coordinate payroll processing with our PEO, JustWorks. Calculate commission on a monthly basis and maintain accurate records Make decisions regarding our benefits packagesEmployee Development:
Introduce and execute on options for internal company structure Produce job titles, descriptions, and growth trajectories for roles within Business Actualization Create standardized processes for performance evaluation and goal-setting criteria Identify and review training opportunities for employees Prepare and execute bimonthly team-building activities and culture initiatives.Office Operations:
Maintain a tidy, professional workspace (with support from a weekly cleaning service). Stock snacks, drinks, and basic office supplies. Handle light errands or coordination with office vendors if needed. Prepare for a move into a larger office space (lease ends in October)Finance & Admin:
Handle light accounts payable/receivable tasks (we keep it simple). Track and organize expense receipts and recurring vendor payments. Support administrative tasks that relate to client services and internal processes. Willing to step in to support the owner with administrative tasks or internal coordination.What We're Looking For:
2+ years in an HR Coordinator or HR Manager role. SHRM or HRC certifications a strong plus Experience with payroll, time tracking, and basic bookkeeping tools. Self-starter with strong organization skills and attention to detail. You will not be walking into a corporate structured environment. We are looking for someone experienced in growing a business from 15 to 50 employees. Comfortable juggling multiple small tasks, and pivoting when priorities shift. Trustworthy, reliable, and proactive in identifying what needs to be done. Experience in a small business or startup environment.What We Offer:
