In this role, you will support various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations across recruitment, employee onboarding, records management, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for fostering positive workplace environments. This position offers an opportunity to gain comprehensive HR experience while contributing to the strategic goals of our organization. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through various channels and scheduling interviews Support employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated effectively Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM Aid in administering benefits programs and processing related documentation Contribute to performance management initiatives by collecting data and supporting employee evaluation processes Help coordinate training and development sessions to promote continuous learning Support compliance with employment laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and workers' compensation regulations Assist with employee relations activities by responding to inquiries and facilitating conflict management when necessary Participate in project management tasks related to organizational design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning Perform data entry, maintain personnel files, and generate reports for HR analytics and workforce management Skills Strong knowledge of human capital management practices and employment & labor law compliance Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or UltiPro; familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms like iCIMS or Lever Proficiency in benefits administration, payroll processing tools such as Paychex or ADP, and timekeeping systems like Kronos or UltiPro Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across diverse audiences Demonstrated project management capabilities with attention to detail in data collection and reporting Knowledge of recruiting strategies, social media management for employer branding, and HR sourcing techniques Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion Familiarity with contracts management, OSHA regulations, and organizational design principles This part-time position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their expertise in human resources within a collaborative environment.
