The Human Resources Assistant is a contract role expected to last 3 - 6 months. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily human resources operations, compliance activities, and administrative functions. The Human Resources Assistant is an onsite role and the Human Resources Assistant will play a key part in maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding and training activities, supporting audits, and ensuring a smooth employee experience. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Support employee onboarding processes, including completion and verification of I-9 documentation Maintain accurate employee files and assist with Human Resources audits and compliance activities Coordinate employee training sessions, orientations, and scheduling logistics Provide administrative support for Human Resources and office-related functions Assist with maintaining employee records and updating Human Resourcessystems Support payroll and timekeeping processes as needed Respond to employee inquiries regarding Human Resources policies, procedures, and documentation Partner with leadership and Human Resources team members to support ongoing Human Resources initiatives Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism Assist with general office administration and day-to-day operational support
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Human Resources administration, office administration, or Human Resources coordination Experience with I-9 processing, audits, and Human Resources compliance procedures Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) platforms Paylocity experience, preferred but not required Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional discretion when handling confidential information Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office software Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, preferred #IND123
