Human Resources plays a vital role in ensuring employees are supported, informed, and equipped to succeed throughout their employment lifecycle. HR Assistant Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, maintaining personnel records, and HRIS data entry The HR Assistant will assist with recruitment activities such as posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications Provide administrative support for employee benefits, including enrollment, open enrollment support, and communication with employees and vendors The HR Assistant will help track leaves of absence, including FMLA and other leave programs, ensuring accurate documentation Respond to employee and supervisor inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits in a timely and professional manner Assist with employee relations and compliance documentation, including maintaining files for disciplinary actions, audits, and other HR processes The HR Assistant will support performance review processes, training coordination, and organization-wide HR initiatives Required Skills & Abilities for HR Assistant Role Strong verbal and written communication skills Customer-focused mindset when supporting employees at all levels Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn HRIS platforms Experience with Paylocity or a similar HRIS is a plus Education & Experience Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered #INMAY2026Similar remote jobs
