Job Description

Job Summary:
Supports cross functional HR projects by analyzing processes and documentation, standardizing and auditing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards, policies and regulatory requirements, while collaborating with management and stakeholders to provide clarity, recommendations, and consistent execution across HR initiatives.
Job Description:
Analyze job descriptions by reviewing responsibilities, experience and education requirements, and evaluating management level, FLSA, and EEO‑1 classifications, to ensure each role is accurately defined and properly aligned with organizational standards. Communicates recommended job description changes to management by preparing and submitting proposed updates for review and approval, to ensure timely and accurate incorporation of approved changes into HR documentation and systems. Ensures to follow the HR standardization of job descriptions by applying action‑oriented writing and best‑practice formatting, ensuring responsibilities, education and experience requirements, and competencies align with job functions and project‑defined templates. Monitors and audits the quality of job description updates before submission to HRIS and performs post‑update reviews to identify discrepancies with standards and minimize errors prior to final implementation. Ensures clear and transparent communication with management by addressing questions, clarifying information, and providing recommendations that support business needs and organizational alignment. Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility. Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations. Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
Additional Job Description:
Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Project Management Experience Previous experience in Human Resources, job analysis, or organizational development, preferably in roles such as HR Generalist, Recruitment Specialist, or Organizational Development positions. Competencies (Skills) Foundational knowledge in drafting and reviewing job descriptions, with basic understanding of job classification and evaluation methodologies. Introductory understanding of Human Resources regulations and best practices, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements, and other applicable standards. Strong writing, analytical, and information‑organization skills, with developing communication and stakeholder‑coordination abilities to support the presentation of recommendations. Ability to manage assigned tasks independently within projects that include multiple deliverables.
