MS Companies is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support high-volume recruiting and workforce staffing operations within the automotive and manufacturing industries. This is a fast-paced, metrics-driven opportunity ideal for a recruiter, staffing professional, sales professional, or workforce coordinator who enjoys building relationships, identifying talent, and helping customers meet critical hiring objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while supporting recruiting initiatives across multiple locations. This position plays a direct role in supporting employee success, customer satisfaction, and workforce growth throughout MS Companies' automotive staffing operations. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, workforce coordination, or a related field Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office applications Strong follow-through, time management, and problem-solving abilities Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Skills & Qualifications Automotive staffing experience Manufacturing or light industrial recruiting experience High-volume recruiting experience Experience sourcing candidates through Indeed, ZipRecruiter, referrals, social media, and community outreach Experience conducting candidate interviews and phone screenings Experience supporting onboarding activities, including I-9 verification, background checks, and drug screenings Familiarity with recruiting metrics, staffing KPIs, and performance goals Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred Day-to-Day Responsibilities Source, screen, interview, and place candidates for automotive and manufacturing staffing opportunities Manage candidate pipelines through ATS and requisition management systems Coordinate onboarding activities, including I-9 verification, background checks, drug screenings, employment documentation, and safety training Utilize digital and community recruiting strategies, including job boards, social media, referrals, hiring events, job fairs, flyers, and local outreach initiatives Partner with recruiting leadership, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to support staffing demands Maintain regular communication with candidates and employees to support engagement, retention, and successful starts Monitor recruiting activity and performance metrics to ensure hiring goals are achieved Maintain accurate candidate and employee records within company systems Support workforce retention initiatives and employee engagement efforts Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and employment regulations Physical & Environmental Requirements Physical expectations and working conditions associated with this role include: Extended periods of sitting and computer use Frequent phone, email, video conferencing, and ATS system activity Ability to manage multiple systems and communication channels simultaneously Regular interaction with candidates, employees, customers, and internal teams Occasional travel may be required for recruiting events, training, company meetings, or customer support activities Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to support staffing objectives and business needs Company Benefits & Culture MS Companies offers a performance-driven, team-oriented environment where employees have the opportunity to make a direct impact on workforce success and customer satisfaction while supporting nationally recognized automotive and manufacturing customers.
