Job Description

HR Administrative Assistant LHH Recruitment is partnering with a company in Tempe who is looking for an HR Administrative Assistant to join the Human Resources department. This role is Monday-Friday, and may allow you to work from home one day a week after you are fully trained. This is compensating between $23/hr-$25/hr. This role will play a key part in supporting the employee onboarding process and ensuring compliance with employment eligibility requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing new hire onboarding, I-9 verification, and E-Verify processing in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working with employees, maintaining compliance, and supporting critical HR functions. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the full onboarding process for new hires. Complete and review I-9 documentation to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Process and maintain E-Verify submissions and records. Assist employees with onboarding paperwork, company policies, and orientation processes. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Track onboarding progress and ensure all required documents are completed timely. Support HR with employment verifications, personnel file maintenance, and compliance audits. Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks and drug screenings. Respond to employee questions regarding onboarding and HR procedures. Assist with additional HR administrative projects and support as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of Human Resources or HR Administrative experience. Extensive experience with employee onboarding required. Strong knowledge of I-9 compliance and E-Verify processing is required. Experience maintaining confidential employee records. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Pay Details:
