Position OverviewOvadia Heart Health is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to own and operate our HR function. This is a part-time (10-15 hours/week), fully remote W2 role for someone who can balance strategy, execution, and risk management.

Run biweekly payroll (currently accounting function)Drive HR Strategy & StructureAdvise leadership on hiring, org structure, and team scalingDevelop roles, compensation structures, and performance frameworksAlign HR strategy with company growthManage Risk & ComplianceOversee HR policies and employee handbookEnsure compliance with state and federal employment lawsIdentify and mitigate legal, operational, and cultural risksBuild Systems & ProcessesCreate and improve HR workflows and SOPsImplement scalable systems (e.g., time tracking, compliance frameworks)Streamline HR operations for efficiency and consistencyWorkers Compensation Audit & ComplianceManage the annual workers compensation audit processCoordinate required documentation and ensure accurate payroll reportingResolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements Partner with LeadershipWork closely with the COO on HR execution and prioritiesCollaborate with the CFO on workforce planning, including budgeted hires and timelinesEnsure hiring plans align with company growth and financial targetsWhat Were Looking For5+ years of HR experience (manager or senior generalist level)Strong understanding of multi state employment law and complianceExperience managing the full employee lifecycleAbility to handle sensitive situations with discretionHighly organized with strong process-building skillsComfortable operating independently in a remote environmentExperience with building out HR department and structure in rapidly growing work environmentsTBD:
