  • position based out of the Newton, MA office, and is
  • eligible for a hybrid work schedule (in office and work from home).
  • The HR Coordinator reports to the HR Operations Lead based out of Irvine, CA.
  • POSITION SUMMARY
  • The HR Coordinator will assist the HR Operations department in organizing, enhancing and executing a wide variety of HR administrative processes supporting approximately 270 Valvoline Instant Oil Change service centers. This position is an hourly position starting at $27.65 per hour.
  • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions of the job: + Process employee transactions including new hires, job changes, and terminations + Perform regular employee database audits and update information as needed to ensure proper functionality of system processes and data integrity on reports + Keep employee files & records up to date in the HRIS system (UKGPro) including scanning and uploading documents to the employee UKG record + Assist department with mailings, projects, etc.
+ Provide assistance, support and respond to management and employee inquiries via email and phone + Other administrative tasks as required
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Skills and Competencies
  • + Proficient computer skills with experience in MS Office Applications, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Payroll Software + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality (required) + Ability to professionally handle working with sensitive/confidential information + Ability to understand and streamline existing HR processes for efficiency and compliance + Desire to advance in the field of HR and expand responsibilities to meet the needs of the company + Ability to create effective cross-functional working relationships with others on-site, at regional offices and service centers + The ability to learn and leverage the HRIS, timekeeping systems and reporting functionalities (UKG Pro & UKG Workforce Management) •Education and Experience•+ High School Graduate or equivalent + Associate's degree preferred, but not required + Prior HR administrative experience •
ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
