Our hybrid remote work schedule combines three (3) days on premises with up to two (2) days remote. Key Roles This position performs administrative services to support effective and efficient operations in the human resources department. Key Responsibilities Employment Coordinates aptitude skill based testing with vendor. Processes new hire paperwork and verifies forms are properly completed and returned in a timely manner, communicates with applicants regarding employment procedures, and coordinates background checks and drug screens. Develops and submits job advertisements to external and internal job sites, and provides to Member Services for posting on digital display boards. Recruits co-op students and student engineers in accordance with approved requisition. Performs employment verifications. Processes candidate interview expenses and assists prospective employees with relocation process. Provides backup for maintaining employee information in PeopleSoft database and personnel files. Training Updates leadership rosters, tracks attendance, and issues training session reports. Updates and maintains all course content and enrollments via Development Central LMS. Develops communications for HR training and educational events. Responds to training enrollment questions. Compiles and summarizes training feedback. Stocks Learning Center with supplies, orders training materials, and maintains room reservation schedule. Prepares and organizes pre-work materials for training programs. Handles all meeting arrangements. Updates EKPC Central and HR DocCentral content areas. Maintains Board related training document files and handles mailings for Director training items. Supports and serves as backup for new hire orientation as needed, including compiling orientation support material. Other Provides administrative and training support for HR team. Prepares various reports and status updates. Processes receivers, enters requisitions, and processes check requests. Processes Key Contributor Awards and notifies leadership in a timely manner. Schedules reservations as needed for Directors, guest speakers, interview candidates, etc. Prepares and attends career fairs with HR Business Partner or other technical employees. Supports HR Business Partners with events. Participates in PeopleSoft upgrade testing. Assists with employee surveys. Analyzes and improves daily activities associated with HR processes. Continuously seeks ways to improve existing processes and programs. Assists with reviewing job descriptions as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree and college courses related to Human Resources preferred. An equivalent combination or education and experience may substitute.Experience:
Three (3) years of related experience.Skills and Abilities:
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Proficient in PeopleSoft HRMS. Basic knowledge of labor laws. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of personnel at all levels of the organization, including external contacts. Provides thorough and timely communication to leadership and peers. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Ability to effectively prioritize work, manage time, and adhere to deadlines. Strong customer relations orientation. Demonstrates forward-thinking and is proactive. Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
