This position serves as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and provides administrative support in areas such as onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, training and certification tracking, HR communications, and compliance-related projects. The HR Coordinator will also serve as a backup resource for payroll processing. We are a small, collaborative team with a hybrid work environment, and the ideal candidate will be highly organized, dependable, able to work independently, and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced setting. Duties Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries. Maintain employee records and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with administering employee benefits, including eligibility tracking, enrollments, and employee communications. Coordinate training, certification, and compliance tracking activities. Assist with workers' compensation administration and OSHA recordkeeping. Post and manage job advertisements and support recruiting activities. Prepare routine HR reports and maintain employment-related documentation. Provide backup support for payroll processing and payroll-related administration as needed. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Experience Minimum two years of Human Resources, payroll, administrative, or related experience. Bilingual English/Spanish required Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
