Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support to owners/administration, including managing employee records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes, and assisting with employee relations issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures. The position would be based at one of our Utah offices, South Jordan or Logan as well as remote from home This part of the role handles day-to-day HR tasks, employee communication, and administrative systems. This part of the role helps keep things organized, responsive, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
1. HR Inbox & Employee Communication Monitor and respond to the HR email inbox Answer routine employee questions about time off, payroll timing, benefits, and HR processes Know when to escalate sensitive or complex issues to the HR Director 2. Time Off & Scheduling Support Track time-off and PTO requests Make sure requests follow company policy Communicate approvals, denials, and reminders to employees Flag potential issues or patterns to the HR Director 3. Onboarding & Offboarding Support Help onboard new hires by coordinating paperwork and system access Set up Gusto onboarding and policy acknowledgements Schedule trainings such as SimplePractice, supervision, or office orientation Assist with offboarding steps and final documentation 4. Payroll & Time Tracking Support Track and verify employee hours Submit hours to GUSTO according to payroll deadlines Send reminders to staff about time submission and pay dates 5. Employee Records & Compliance Tracking Keep employee files organized and up to date Track licenses, certifications, and malpractice insurance
