Security Officer - FT - $20.30/hr
HIRING IMMEDIATELY!
Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Full-Time Security Officers in the Hodges, South Carolina area. All shifts are available! This position offers a pay rate of $20.30/hr - paid weekly . Qualifications:
1 year or more of security, military, or law enforcement experience strongly preferred. Strong computer proficiency required. Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills. Ability to remain professional, calm, and effective in high-pressure situations. Must be dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol & Monitoring Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to ensure safety, security, and policy compliance. Monitor security cameras and access control systems, responding promptly to suspicious activity or alarm. Access Control & Badging Track, audit, and document badge activity and visitor access daily. Verify credentials, issue visitor passes and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site procedures. Communication & Documentation Maintain high-quality written and verbal communication at all times. Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation with accuracy and professionalism. Communicate effectively with supervisors, Operations Managers, and site leadership. Operational Expectations Demonstrate strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate security software, email, and reporting systems. Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality; reliability is a core requirement. Be able and willing to work multiple shifts outside of your normal schedule when operational needs arise. Follow all company policies, post orders, and client expectation. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
