located at 3147A Sumter Highway, Manning, S.C. 29102 is looking for a Human Resources & Payroll Assistant.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

of the

HR & PAYROLL ASSISTANT

position is to prepare, maintain, and process bi-weekly payroll, assemble and maintain personnel files and ensure that all new hire in processing paperwork is complete and accurate. As the HR & Payroll Assistant, you will serve as the assistant to the Director of Human Resources and Payroll.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED Prior related administrative experience Ability to multitask and balance priorities Working knowledge of both state and federal payroll laws, and practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work under short deadlines Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with supervisor, management and co-workers

DUTIES INCLUDE

Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately, research problems/complaints about payroll issues and make necessary corrections Enter employees into the system and assemble and maintain personnel files Make and maintain employee ID badges Assign employee-required annual training courses, and ensure license and certification requirements are met Perform periodic audits of Human Resources files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately Contribute to the team effort by completing other related duties and projects as assigned
