This role is vital in ensuring smooth HR operations, fostering a positive workplace environment, and assisting with strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about human resources practices, ready to contribute to our company's growth and success. Duties
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation processes to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated seamlessly into the organization.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and records.
- Process employment paperwork, benefits documentation, and HR forms.
- Support payroll preparation, timekeeping, and attendance tracking.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and general HR-related questions.
- Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through various channels, coordinating interview scheduling and maintaining applicant tracking systems
- Communicate with candidates regarding application status and onboarding requirements.
- Maintain and update employee information within HRIS systems.
- Ability to create, maintain, and analyze reports using HRIS systems to support payroll, attendance, employee records, recruiting, and other HR functions.
- Support performance tracking and employee documentation processes.
- Assist with compliance-related recordkeeping and audits.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and management.
- Respond to employee inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
- Assist with various administrative and HR projects as assigned.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, company events, recognition programs, and initiatives that support positive workplace culture and employee morale.

- Assist with compliance efforts related to employment law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation claims, affirmative action planning, and other legal requirements Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of two (2) years of related Human Resources, administrative, or office experience is required.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity and/or ADP preferred.
- Familiarity with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR sourcing strategies.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accurate documentation practices.
- Ability to work under pressure while effectively multitasking, prioritizing workload, and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional phone etiquette and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and rebuild trust.
- Excellent objection-handling, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Availability to work weekends and after-hours as business needs require.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
Pay:
