Business Administration Specialist Location:
Katy, TX Reports to: President - US Operations & Business Development Role Summary This role supports the day-to-day operations of the Katy office, including benefits administration, general HR coordination, and office management. The position also provides administrative support across functions and serves as a key point of contact for employee questions and office-related needs. Key Responsibilities Executive & Office Administration Support the leadership team by proactively managing administrative and operational tasks Act as a primary point of contact for office-related questions; resolve issues independently where possible Escalate only high-priority or strategic matters to Leadership Coordinate day-to-day office operations Manage communication with building management and external vendors Manage office inventory and Cost Management Support a well-organized and efficient office environment Benefits Administration & HR Support Support Administration of employee benefit programs Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits Support annual open enrollment processes Maintain and update benefits information in HR systems Support onboarding activities for new hires Assist with administration of medical leaves (FMLA/ADA) Office Events & Culture Coordinate office events and team activities (e.g., holiday gatherings) Contribute to a positive and organized workplace environment Cross-Functional Support Provide administrative support to Accounting, Marketing, Sales, and other functions as needed Assist with coordination of projects, reporting, and internal communication Support general business operations on an ad hoc basis
