Job Description

Are you ready to kick-start your career in Human Resources and make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Position Summary The Human Resource Intern will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintains accurate and uptodate human resource files, records, and documentation. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Provides clerical support to the HR department. Maintains HR team calendar and scheduling. Assists with new hire onboarding processes. Prepares paperwork, folders, schedules, and facilitates smooth new hire onboarding processes with different departments. Assists with creating, implementing, and maintaining Team Member communications. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organizationwide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and celebrations. Performs other duties as assigned. Exhibits and practices the Third Coast Way fundamental behaviors.
Knowledge and Skills:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Basic understanding of HR principles and practices. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fastpaced HR environment.
Work Experience:
Two years of administrative assistant experience required.
Skills and Competencies:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
100% Office Setting, including sitting, some bending, walking, and viewing. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
