Now Hiring HR Assistant - Northern Virginia Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services, LLC Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting both employees and operational success? Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services is seeking a dependable and proactive HR Assistant to support our growing team across Northern Virginia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to maintaining strong communication, compliance, and employee support systems. This position will begin as part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on company growth, performance, and operational needs. About the Role As an HR Assistant, you will support day-to-day HR operations, scheduling coordination, employee onboarding, compliance tracking, and training support across the organization. Compliance Responsibilities On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, track 48-hour session note compliance Track and monitor required certifications, including CPR, Mandated Reporter, Safety Care, and other required credentials Track and encourage RBT certification progress and renewals Track PIP compliance Track provider communication compliance Scheduling Responsibilities Find coverage for employee requests off Coordinate coverage for upcoming training participants Match new employees with appropriate shadowing opportunities Track employees requesting additional hours and monitor availability Make requested updates to employee schedules Provide employees with screen recordings and guidance on how to make future schedule edits independently Track available admin time and distribute opportunities among interested and qualified employees Training Responsibilities Create trainings for Rethink, BambooHR, and other internal platforms Track participation and completion of required trainings Ensure employees remain compliant with mandatory training requirements Interviews and Onboarding Responsibilities Conduct interviews Source candidates as needed Ensure new employees complete all required paperwork and onboarding trainings Coordinate introductions between team members and supervisors Assist employees with general questions and support requests Support additional HR and operational projects as needed Schedule Monday to Friday Part-time schedule initially Opportunity to transition into full-time hours Flexible scheduling based on operational needs What We're Looking For Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and professionalism Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable learning and navigating multiple software platforms Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Experience in HR, scheduling, healthcare administration, or ABA services preferred Full-time availability (approximately 25-40 hours/week); start off part-time Flexibility to support both locations (Manassas and Springfield) Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED (required) Bachelor's degree preferred Why Join Us?
