Day Shift Security Officer

• Montpelier, VT Securitas is hiring for a Part-Time Security Officer immediately to help keep our government clients site safe in the Montpelier, VT area!

Pay:

$23.00/hr

Schedule:

Part-time (25 hours/week), Monday through Friday, 7:30 am

Primary Job Duties:

Provide excellent customer service with a strong sense of professionalism Observe and report in and near the property, identifying and responding to any potential threat or safety hazard Conduct hourly foot patrols of the property Operate a walk-through metal detector and X-ray baggage scanner Conduct screenings with a handheld wand detector

Requirements:

• Highly personable with strong customer service skills
• must be comfortable with frequent interactions with the public High level of professionalism Walking/standing for long periods of time
• VT Guard Card
