Human Resources Assistant Renewal by Andersen - 3.3 Waukesha, WI Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Confidential information handling FMLA Desktop applications Productivity software Full Job Description Renewal by Andersen of Milwaukee is looking for a full-time Human Resources Assistant that will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resources department, all while gaining practical experience in the field. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation within HRIS, SharePoint, and other applicable platforms Learn, maintain, and manage Paycom features (Learning, Surveys, LOA, etc.) Ensure benefit enrollments and terminations are processed within HRIS and vendor portals Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and communications Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, including health, disability, and retirement plan providers Act as a liaison between the organization and state and federal agencies such as Unemployment, IRS, and Child Support Support HR-related special events, such as benefits enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and celebrations Job Requirements At least one year experience in Human Resources position required Must have Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field Prior related office experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and other computer applications as needed Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to lift and carry up to 20lbs Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
