The agency's primary goal is to develop, coordinate, and provide services in the community that support an active and independent lifestyle where those served can live and thrive. CAAC is a governmental non-profit agency that receives federal, state, and local funding. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a thriving, engaged workforce. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment and labor laws. This is an HR Department of 1, and will drive organizational success through effective workforce management, change management strategies, and innovative HR solutions. Duties Develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with organizational goals, including organization design and succession planning. Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract top candidates through social media management and targeted sourcing strategies. Oversee employee onboarding, orientation programs, and ongoing training & development initiatives to enhance employee engagement and performance. Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts promptly through effective conflict management techniques and fostering a positive work environment. Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans using ADP. Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and affirmative action planning requirements. Conduct performance evaluations and employee evaluations to support career development and organizational growth. Help with Outreach and provide backup for Payroll. Requirements At least 2 years' experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of HR management practices. Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR sourcing techniques. Proficiency with HRIS platforms including ADP and workforce management tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry, data collection, contract administration, and administrative tasks related to HR functions. Previous experience working with the Senior population and/ or non profit experience a plus. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; professional HR certifications are preferred.
