The role is responsible for coordinating all administrative activities related to an organization's personnel. Their duties include developing recruitment strategies, interviewing and hiring, implementing systems for managing staff benefits, payroll, performance management and onboarding new employees.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage high volume recruiting for both hourly and salaried workforce Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date Drive conflict resolution and guide managers on disciplinary activities Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations Onboarding all new employees to company policies, procedures, systems, and culture Managing employee offboarding including exit interviews, accounts termination and post-employment benefits transitions Process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws Development and oversight of comprehensive training programs tailored to our operational and continuous improvements initiatives Maintaining and updating company handbook policies Implement targeted strategies to address workforce shortages and reduce employee turnover Coordinate employee appreciation events Additional duties are requested Qualifications and Education Requirements Education College degree preferred or 3+ years in Human Resources management roles SHRM certifications a plus Language Skills Must be able to read and interpret English language documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, company handbook, and procedure manuals. Must be able to speak and write in English effectively when presenting information to supervisors and fellow employees. Mathematical Skills Required to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. General knowledge of financial information and journal entries Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Computer Skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Understanding of accounting systems Relationship Skills Must be able to keep information confidential Understand, respect and advocate diversity, fairness and unbiased decision making Exceptional listening skills Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, and other supplemental insurance plans. 401(k) available with company match.
