Job Description

A confidential company within the integrative oncology field is hiring! This healing center integrates science based, proven alternative and natural therapies with the most effective and least harmful mainstream medicines to eradicate cancer in the body. The foundation of our program provides the nutrients and detoxification required for the body to restore optimal immune system function and to change the biochemistry of the body so that it stops making cancer. We inspire, teach, and provide guidance for our patients in a caring and encouraging atmosphere of hope and gratitude. Success in this role requires a collaborative and egalitarian mindset, with a strong appreciation for each team member's role and contribution to the overall mission and operations of the organization We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized People & Operations Manager to join our team and oversee Human Resources, front office operations, and administrative compliance within our integrative medical center. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a small, mission-driven healthcare environment and is comfortable balancing people management, regulatory compliance, and daily operational responsibilities providing an exceptional patient experience from the moment patients enter our healing center with clinical leadership and foster a welcoming and well-coordinated environment for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources & People Management Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical positions. Partner with leadership to create job descriptions, define qualifications, and support hiring decisions. Lead onboarding and orientation, ensuring HIPAA, OSHA, and policy training. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, coaching, performance management, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations (wage & hour, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA). Maintain employee files, credential records, HR documentation, and required postings. Coordinate benefits administration, open enrollment communication, and vendor relationships. Support leadership with workforce planning, retention strategies, and culture initiatives. Promote a fair, respectful, and values-driven workplace aligned with the healing mission of the organization. Front Office & Administrative Operations Oversee daily front office operations to ensure efficient patient flow and administrative support. Manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage while minimizing overtime. Oversee patient intake, registration, scheduling, billing accuracy, and EHR data integrity. Serve as the escalation point for patient concerns or service issues. Develop, update, and enforce front office SOPs, workflows, and training materials. Monitor staff productivity, attendance, and adherence to schedules and procedures. Ensure compassionate, professional communication with patients, caregivers, and staff. Facilities, Compliance & Systems Oversight Coordinate facility operations to ensure the center is fully functional and compliant. Oversee basic maintenance coordination, and vendor scheduling. Maintain OSHA compliance and required documentation. Ensure opening and closing security procedures are followed. Oversee office equipment, phone systems, printers, and administrative technology. Monitor EHR functionality, user access, documentation completion, and vendor coordination. Ensure timely and compliant fulfillment of medical record requests and retention standards. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of Human Resources or people operations experience , preferably in a medical or healthcare setting. Experience supervising staff and overseeing administrative or office operations. Strong knowledge of HR compliance, HIPAA, OSHA, and healthcare-related regulations. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to balance empathy with accountability in sensitive situations. High attention to detail, discretion, and problem-solving ability. Experience in naturopathic, integrative or functional medicine preferred. Vegan or vegetarian and/or healthy lifestyle necessary. Qualifications Preferred HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP/SCP). Experience in integrative, holistic, or small medical practice environments. Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare workflows. Experience supporting clinical teams and patient-facing staff. Experience supporting clinical staff such as RNs, MAs, NPs, or integrative/functional medicine practitioners.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
