Director, People Operations Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Onsite Manager to lead recruiting and workforce operations for a key client site in Calabasas. This role serves as the primary onsite partner supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, workforce engagement, and day-to-day staffing operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys building strong relationships with both employees and client stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in ensuring workforce needs are met while delivering an exceptional employee and client experience. Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and community outreach Screen, interview, and coordinate hiring activities Build and maintain talent pipelines to support ongoing workforce needs Employee Onboarding & HR Support Coordinate onboarding, orientations, background checks, drug screens, and I-9 compliance Serve as the primary point of contact for contingent employees and client supervisors Support employee relations, attendance management, coaching conversations, and workplace issue resolution Assist with leave administration, workers' compensation, and HR escalations as needed Client & Workforce Management Build strong partnerships with client leadership and hiring managers Ensure staffing goals, service levels, and operational expectations are consistently achieved Promote employee engagement, retention, and workforce satisfaction initiatives Identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and workforce processes Payroll, Reporting & Operations Support weekly payroll and timekeeping processes, including resolving pay discrepancies Maintain accurate records within ATS, HRIS, CRM, and client systems Track staffing metrics, recruiting activity, attendance, and operational reporting Manage daily onsite operations and maintain a professional, organized office environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered 3-5 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, HR operations, workforce management, or onsite program management Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments preferred Strong understanding of onboarding, employment compliance, employee relations, and workforce operations Ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with ATS, HRIS, CRM
systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/timekeeping platforms Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for 2 hours without standing, sit up to 8+ hours per day Ability to engage fine motor skills such as typing and writing for up to 2 hours without a break, use fine motor skills for up to 8+ hours per day Ability to see and read computer screen, employment documents and correspondence. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. $70,500-$80,000/year base salary + commission ($5,000-40,000/year+) Pay:
