Role:
The Senior HR Business Partner in the manufacturing industry serves as a strategic liaison between the human resources department and business units to drive organizational success. This role focuses on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to enhance workforce performance, engagement, and productivity. The HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with leadership to identify talent needs, develop workforce plans, and implement effective HR solutions that support operational goals. They will also play a critical role in managing change, resolving employee relations issues, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Ultimately, this position ensures that HR strategies contribute to the sustainable growth and competitive advantage of the manufacturing organization. Reporting into the Head of Human Resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partner or strategic HR role. Experience working within the manufacturing industry or a similarly complex operational environment. Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, and HR best practices. Proven ability to build effective relationships with business leaders and influence at all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR. Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and data analytics tools. Demonstrated success in leading organizational change initiatives within manufacturing settings. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and their impact on workforce management. Bilingual in
Spanish Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, providing HR guidance and support tailored to manufacturing operations. Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet current and future talent needs within the manufacturing environment. Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and development to build a motivated and skilled workforce. Collaborate with HR centers of excellence on talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation, and diversity and inclusion programs. Analyze HR metrics and business data to provide insights and recommendations that support decision-making and continuous improvement. Support organizational change management efforts, including communication plans and training to facilitate smooth transitions.
