Corporation sells electronics and entertainment products in the USA in four main sectors: Automotive, Public Service, Media Services, and Healthcare. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
You will provide general Human ResourceS support and employee relations functions for all JKUSA employees. Plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative functions of an organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding human resources and related issues. Handle employee issues as they arise. Conduct sensitive and confidential investigations and recommend resolution. Advises managers concerning complex employee relations issues such as workplace harassment, workplace violence, ADA/FMLA, substance abuse, and reductions in force. Ensure compliance with employment law in the states in which the company does business and/or has employees, with a specific focus on California. Mitigate (and eliminate where possible) risks to the organization tied to employment law. Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; assists in preparation and maintaining employee handbook and procedures manual. Support the performance management and merit process. Recruit, evaluate, make recommendations for hire, and onboard new employees as necessary. Responsible for keeping the HRIS dashboard and Career Page updated. Provide support for the JKUSA benefits program including but not limited to open enrollment, monthly reconciliation of vendor bills, compliance and audits, and employee benefit changes. Work with Manager Administration and Sr. Payroll Manager to ensure timely payroll processing. Assists in maintenance of HR programs to include organizational charts, HRIS reports, and employee records. Helps organize employee events such as training, employee recognition lunches, and other meetings as necessary. Maintain company recognition program and make recommendations and periodic updates. Conduct employee training as needed. Prepares and directs the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Report and provide statistical analysis and HR metrics. Analyze and make recommendations for changes. Assists auditors with quarterly and annual audit and preparation. Provides support to the HR Director with special projects, as required. Presents professional attitude that reflects a positive atmosphere to applicants and employees. Interfaces with all employees in all departments and exhibit a professional/confidential behavior including leadership, having a sense of urgency, independent judgment, working industriously, and help to create a cohesive, productive unity dedicated to the achievement of corporate goals. Agree to abide by the established Approval Matrix.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
College degree in Human Resource Management, related degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience PHRca preferred Continuing education through employment law seminars Warehouse HR management a plus Experience in HRIS systems (preferably ADP Workforce Now)
