Permanent, Full Time Job Description And DutiesCalHR has authorized the DFPI to pay candidates hired at the Attorney IV (Range A) a hire above minimum (H.A.M.) rate of $12,925.00 per month. However, effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025).

directs that each full-time employee shall receive a reduction in pay in exchange for monthly

leave credits. The salary range(s) included in the job advertisement and the H.A.M. rate above do not reflect the reduction in pay. All Bargaining Unit 2 classifications (including Attorney IVs) will receive a 4.62 percent reduction in pay in exchange for 8 hours of

The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation is recruiting for one Permanent, Full-time Supervisor I in the Human Resources Office within the Employee Relations Unit. This position is to be located in the Sacramento office. This recruitment may be used to fill subsequent vacancies of these positions within the next 180 days.

Under the general direction of the Supervisor II, Personnel Management, the Supervisor I, Employee Relations Supervisor, is responsible for supervising, developing, and monitoring the areas of Performance Management, Workers' Compensation, Reasonable Accommodation, and Health and Safety. Ensures that staff consistently applies personnel policies, procedures, and established practices while meeting the needs of management. Collaborates with managers to develop service level objectives and quality control measures. Establishes priorities, provides guidance, and evaluates development and performance of staff.

SUPERVISOR
ICandidates who are within six months of satisfying the minimum qualifications will be admitted to the examination, but they must fully meet the requirement(s) before being eligible for appointment.

Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, or customer service duties. Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis; and An additional two years of professional analytical and/or technical experience, one year of which must be equivalent to an Analyst II or higher.
