El Sol NEC's mission is for community members to reach personal empowerment to move towards self-sufficiency and contribute to their community's well-being. The Partner Engagement Coordinator is responsible for building, coordinating, and sustaining collaborative relationships with community-based organizations (CBOs), coalition members, and local partners involved in El Sol Neighborhood Educational Center's violence prevention initiatives. This position supports multi-sector collaboration, facilitates coalition engagement, and ensures effective communication between El Sol NEC, partner organizations, and program stakeholders. The Partner Engagement Coordinator works closely with program leadership, Community Health Workers (CHWs), youth leaders, and evaluation staff to support program implementation, community outreach, and partnership development. Minimum Requirements 2+ years of related/equivalent experience in community engagement, coalition building, nonprofit partnerships, or community organizing with a BA degree in public health, social work, community development, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Bilingual (Spanish/ English; speak and write) preferred. Must clear FBI/DOJ background check. Qualifications Minimum 2-4+ years of experience in community engagement, coalition building, nonprofit partnerships, or community organizing. Experience working with community-based organizations or multi-sector partnerships. Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings, events, or collaborative initiatives. Strong organizational and administrative coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and support program logistics. Excellent written, verbal communication, and relationship building skills, including experience presenting to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management. Ability to perform tasks related to physical activity to include sitting, standing, for long periods of time, caring, bending, moving, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities Support the recruitment and engagement of coalition members representing community organizations, public agencies, and local stakeholders. Coordinate logistics for coalition meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up communication. Assist in organizing quarterly coalition meetings and supporting coalition subcommittees and/or micro-action teams. Track coalition participation and maintain communication with partner organizations to ensure continued engagement. Develop and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, schools, local agencies, and community leaders. Coordinate partnership activities that support program implementation initiatives. Serve as a liaison between El Sol NEC staff and partner organizations. Support onboarding and coordination of partner organizations participating in initiatives. Work with the Director of Operations and Program Manager to coordinate collaborative activities across partner organizations. Assist partners in implementing initiatives aligned with community violence prevention. Support coordination of activities that involve partner CBOs, CHWs, youth leaders, and community stakeholders. Support coordination of CHW program activities with partner organizations. Assist with communication between CHWs, partner organizations, and program leadership. Facilitate partner engagement in CHW training initiatives and program implementation. Coordinate collaboration between youth leadership participants, CHWs, and CBOs. Maintain records of partner participation, coalition engagement, and collaborative activities. Support program leadership with coordination of partner communications, updates, and collaborative planning. Assist with documentation of partnership activities and outcomes. Support efforts to identify opportunities for long-term collaboration with community partners. Collaborate with the evaluation team to support data collection activities involving CBOs. Assist with gathering partner feedback and documenting collaborative program outcomes. Support preparation of partnership-related information for reports and evaluation activities.
