Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Leave of Absence Manager to oversee and administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, long-term disability, military leave, personal leave, and other company-supported leave types. This role serves as a key resource for employees and HR, ensuring leave processes are handled efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, long-term disability, military leave, personal leave, and related programs. Ensure leave requests are processed accurately and within required timelines. Partner with HR to provide guidance on leave policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Address employee concerns with empathy, consistency, and confidentiality. Maintain accurate records of leave requests, approvals, and related documentation. Monitor compliance with applicable leave laws and company policy. Track leave trends, duration, leave types, and return-to-work status for leadership reporting. Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of leave of absence management experience in a high-volume environment. Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other leave-related laws and regulations. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Collaborative mindset with a focus on process improvement.

Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and computer. Occasional standing and walking through office or operational areas.
