Faxing Full Job Description Summary:
The Human Resources and Risk Management Director executes people initiatives, provides internal customer support, and drives HR excellence, compliance, and continuous process improvement. This position develops and implements human resources policies, programs, and services, including recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employee communications, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. The Director also oversees risk management programs to ensure the organization is protected from operational, regulatory, and workforce-related risks. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or healthcare environments and has demonstrated success implementing and managing ADP Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms to support organizational growth, workforce management, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and reporting.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources Management experience required. Minimum of three (3) years of strategic HR leadership experience in a multi-site organization preferred. Experience practicing Human Resources within a behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, healthcare, or related clinical setting required. Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development. Experience leading or participating in ADP Workforce Now, ADP TotalSource, or other ADP Human Capital Management platform implementations, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing administration required. Proficiency in HRIS systems, workforce analytics, compliance reporting, and HR technology optimization. Experience with workers' compensation, risk management, safety programs, and regulatory compliance. Clean DMV record. Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Model professional behavior that demonstrates the Company's core values, including integrity, accountability, teamwork, professionalism, continuous improvement, and service excellence. Lead and execute strategic HR initiatives that support organizational goals and operational objectives. Advise executive leadership and management regarding compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, wage and hour regulations, employee benefits, leave administration, and workforce management practices. Remain current with changes in employment law, HR best practices, and healthcare/behavioral health regulatory requirements. Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees regarding company policies, employee relations matters, performance management, and HR program administration. Conduct investigations involving workplace policy violations, employee complaints, and employee relations issues; recommend and implement appropriate resolutions. Provide guidance and support to managers regarding employee discipline, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations. Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain high-quality talent in behavioral health and healthcare environments. Participate in recruitment, interviewing, candidate selection, and offer negotiations. Oversee compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and wage surveys in collaboration with compensation consultants and leadership. Partner with department leaders to develop, maintain, and update job descriptions and workforce planning initiatives. Lead the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of HR technology platforms, including ADP systems. Manage ADP implementation projects, system upgrades, integrations, data conversions, process automation initiatives, and end-user training as needed. Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll, benefits administration, timekeeping, onboarding, reporting, and employee records within ADP and other HR systems. Develop and maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess organizational effectiveness and improve HR service delivery. Manage and track all FMLA and Leave of Absence requests. Oversee all workers compensation claims and work closely with adjustors and employees in managing the claims. Plan, organize, and direct all Human Resources department activities, including supervision, coaching, policies, procedures, and development of HR staff. Design and deliver management training programs related to leadership development, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and workplace culture. Support organizational health initiatives and community outreach programs that align with the mission of behavioral health and recovery services. Develop employee engagement, recognition, and retention programs that promote a positive and productive workplace culture. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and separation processes. Participate in all contractual audits and implement necessary changes as needed within the HR department. Create, implement, and monitor risk management, workplace safety, illness and injury prevention, and workers' compensation programs. Collaborate with operational and clinical leadership to ensure HR practices support quality client care, employee well-being, and regulatory compliance within behavioral health settings. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Adhere to policies and procedures set forth for agency. Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards established by IVRS. Must have knowledge of federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and standards governing all services provided by IVRS.
Essential Job Functions:
Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computers, copiers, calculators and fax machines. Must be able to prepare correspondence. Must be able to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions. Must be able to record and deliver information, to explain procedures, to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to communicate effectively.
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
